Yes but protecting your freedom should be done properly. If you are not using self custodian Bitcoin solutions your freedom can be taken away from you. If you are not properly secured / hide your true ID on Nostr your freedom can again be taken away from you.
Be smart and don't take everything for granted!
I like to do this thing when people like you leave comments like this, where I check which node the lightning address on your Nostr profile is using. I pulled an invoice using your Lightning address and decided it to find the node pub key, which is 030a58b8653d32b99200a2334cfe913e51dc7d155aa0116c176657a4f1722677a3, which happens to be Alby’s node. So before you go preaching “only self-custody this and that” please be sure your hypocrisy can’t be found out.
