My take (as someone who lived across the street from KASE for a few years)

1) Loudest jets were private pilots who would use excessive reverse thrust to save the brakes

2) $100 million is chump change when the average single fam home sells for $25 million. Make the field private and tell the FAA to pound sand if don't like it.

3) Amory Lovins is an asshole who thinks solar panes can replace fossil and nuclear power.
