Insurance coverage denials have risen in recent years in the US, driven in part by automated algorithms powered by AI and some recently launched AI tools may fight back by generating automatic appeals on the behalf of healthcare providers and patients.

The administrative overhead will continue to increase until the insurance companies start facing effectively denial of service attacks from PA counters.

This ends only one way IMHO. And I’m already starting to see it where I live: doctors refusing insurance and accepting direct payments only.
