It was a good experiment. I made it a while going Linux only. I need at least one computer running Windows though, or maybe dual booted.

I have been on Ubuntu for a very long time. I would suggest you follow your advice and dual boot. Use Windows for whatever you need it for but use Linux day to day
I think thats the way to go. I always have one machine running Linux, but this was the first time I dropped Windows completely.
It wasn't the big stuff that made me reinstall Windows either, it was small tools that people made for specific things or some obscure game here and there.
Yeah some games need Windows, I don't playing games but understand that. Another option you have is to run Windows as a virtual machine inside of Linux. Virtualbox runs as a program inside of Linux and you can load any version of Windows you wish.
If you get it to work this means you have a Windows window running, just like a Brave or any other program
