It's not just the threat of violence that I object to. It's the more subtle forms of coercion, like guilt, fear or obligation that I also object to.
I don't believe in altruism. Everyone acts because they believe that they will be benefit from that action.
I want to live in a strong, healthy & joyful community. I enjoy seeing people thrive & living their best lives. If I help anyone, it's because I wanted to help them & not because I felt obligated to do so.
I believe most humans feel similar if they're really honest with themselves & their motivation.
