Usury is #Theft. Why is usury no longer a sin?
The West has grown accustomed to capitalism. Interest rates do not carry any negative connotation and usury is no longer considered a sin.

Usury is the financial form of slavery. It looks like it's in the human nature to exploit
each other. It has nothing to do with capitalism. It's psychology.
Yes agreed, usury is theft and exploitation, a financial form of slavery for sure, but some how people tend to equate it to capitalism. Capitalism on the other hand, I figure we've only ever known that on paper. It reminds that we don't actually have a free market or a true and transparent democratic process to sustain the Republic either.
I also think that those who like to steal and exploit, also like to attribute their barbarity to human nature. The thief believes everyone is a thief, just as liars tend to believe everyone lies incessantly, but clearly that is not the case. Yes, psychology, psychopaths and sociopaths.
