Or slapped down. It would take a sustained and organised spell of civil unrest to force any change.
Problem is no-one wants to discuss what that change should be.
Brits have a comfort in complaining culture but never no how to make a change i agree.

We have to be pushed to an extreme to act. But the history isn't taught anymore so theres no refrence to actually being able to do it.
Like the constitution in the US is a regular reference point for all Americans to push back.
