I don't like the ability to change history, to delete documentation.

Once written, it's part of history. That thought was part of you back then. New thought, new post.

What is said, is said. The possibility to delete or change makes censorship possible and more easy.

I don't want to see messages/announcements disappear.

As for typos, it forces to be more aware of what you write before you click the send icon.
