Linux kernel development is being captured. Not good. I hope some downstream distros take a stand and apply the censored patchsets if they have merit.

Nostr git is looking better and better...
They're blocking Linux kernel patches for hardware produced by a Russian company. In a small way, they're helping sabotage the Russian economy by making that hardware less useful/profitable, which quite directly sabotages the ability of Russian to wage genocide on their neighbors. Good.
Frankly, with war at this scale if you're Russian and you're even so much as paying your taxes, you're doing something very immoral. Going forward, we should be asking Russian immigrants how they personally resisted their own government. And yes, that means if a Russian paid their taxes rather than evading them, that should count against them for immigration purposes.
