To use zaps on primal, you have to sign up for this.

By signing up (filling the info in) you are opting in to becoming a Strike customer, therefore they need your information (KYC).

just how primal does it

This is not true. You can connect an external wallet to zap with Primal.

Looking at the original note, his goal is to be able to zap on Primal, but Primal's wallet is not available for Canada, and he wants to know if there is a way around it.

Your response made it seem like there is no way around it. Either use their wallet,giving them KYC info, or you're SOL.

That is not the case. The way around it is to use a NWC enabled wallet and connect it to Primal in the wallet settings.
