Yeah it’s like that here as well, I honestly don’t have high hopes for long term, my expectations r pretty much just convo n maybe a date or two.. I guess these apps drive the dating culture further away from any actual long term expectations

i guess it could be used for practice for real dating – having a nice conversation, trying to get to know each other.

it seems like there's nothing as effective for finding a date (or even a partner) as meeting through mutual friends
