I just reread Siddartha after a long time. Simple, easy and wonderful, I love it.

Siddhartha 😅

. . . the river

"The river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere, and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past, nor the shadow of the future."

Impermanence, difficult to digest but then it is liberating.

everything is a miracle

an appearance

a mirror

Maya, in Sanskrit means

That, which is not

'That' is non change,

'which is not', the ever-changing

nature of the manifest reality .

That is the state of pure Awareness.

Both together,

the never changing

and ever changing

like the ocean and the wave.

I've watched all the 50 episodes of Buddha on Netflix 2x

The actor looked dreamy on that film and of course, the story is about history, the real life of Siddhartha who became enlightened, and will not be reincarnated anymore (the name Siddhartha means "every wish fulfilled" btw)
