That's only a way for the US gov to have a hand inside X / Tesla / Space X etc to control Elon from inside.
And for Elon to get a "out of jail" free card when the crap hit the fan.
Barely a mutual benefit for both, Trump will do nothing to reduce gov inefficiency and definitly not reduce it's size.
