Just booted my garage server after 24 days of downtime. The old Super Micro takes SO LONG too boot, there is ALWAYS a moment when my heart sinks, and I am just positive I’ve lost a disk.

And then, somehow, every time, five or ten minutes later everything is online, and working fine.

How long will I get away with this 10+ year old server firing up? No idea. But thankful!
