Sorry for my dumb question.
Can two people share a single hardware wallet? Like two seperate wallet seeds, but share the hardware device to create them? #asknostr

Some devices do or plan to allow for multiple keys. I know the next Coldcard is supposed to do this.
Some families share a seed but have different pass phrases.
I think the general point is, sharing a device you're staying the funds, if that's ok then one of the above is ok.
I share my Blockstream Jade with my family, by using it as a signing device exclusively (aka stateless), they hold their own seeds generated from Jade.

It feels like multi sig, with more steps.
I can see is not the same, but is easy to make a new secret.
The nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl would work for this. It doesn’t retain the seed when powered off, so it needs to be imported each time.
Depending on what your goal is, and the level of trust between the two parties, setting up a Cold Card with a 2 of 3 between the two primary parties and a trusted third party (like your lawyer’s or accountant’s office with strict terms on the their conditions on coordinating access ie one of the two primary parties being legally dead or incapable of power of attorney) would accomplish the same thing. If I’m catching your drift. Anything less (like sharing the primary seed between both parties) would open up both to human factors and theft, especially if one of the parties has a vagina. Opinion only, I offer no legal, marriage, or investment advice.
Its for my wife and I. I trust her with my main seed, thats not the issue. Im more wanting to help her set up her own cold storage and was wondering if I buy 1 Jade or Coldcard could it work for both of us with seperate wallets. I think I may be better off buying 2 Jade/Coldcard for us to each have one?
I think having two separate cards provides better options as well for keeping them in distinct separate physical locations. One thing I’ve done in the past is got two signing devices and made them clones of one another. They are the same device for all intents and purposes but can be miles apart physically. I can smash one with a hammer and it doesn’t even matter. And keeping metal stamped copies of the seed phrase pieces in two other locations is a good idea. Josh and Dan’s latest episode of Blue Collar Bitcoin podcast with Ben from Sessions has some great insights on multisig and also on UTXO management across multiple devices.
