As for lightning for the past year the capacity is more or less the same while number of channels is slowly decreasing. At least this does not show as if lightning was taking over. I do not recon any other L2 protocol that would make any difference.

BTC ETFs prosent volumes bigger than at their start. Whatever is their onchain footprint it would rather increase than decrease. Retail is asleep or in coma? Whales are done for now selling?
