The Internet makes all book long to be free.
Typically "the right" just doesn't want their child reading erotica from the school library...

In the US, the right wants to ban books about critical race theory. My wife works with someone who was fired for not complying with books banning transgender protagonists.
There is no “good” side when books are banned.
