Ok, so ditto is pretty cool. It was fast to spin up and can be as siloed as you want or not. I made a new Nsec for admining the server.

Like it says in the intro post, it takes the best of mastodon and slaps it on top of nostr. Anyone can post to the feed's global feed be adding the domain relay. Only domain Nip-05s show up on the instance feed, and your home feed is just your normal follow list.

What I mean by "siloed as you want or not" is by default a new account only reads and posts from the domain relay. IMO that's sick as fuck for new users who have never used nostr and only want to participate in the community, but you can reach out to the wider nostr-verse by adding more relays to your relay list like you would in any other client.

Once you set your relays in Dashboard - Admin, every other client only needs to connect to your Ditto relay and it will do all the broadcasting for you like bostr

You can save a bunch of mobile data and battery using only your ditto relay in future and you can filter out all the bad posts. My policy.ts is about 500 lines almost

Yes. Only set relays once in Dashboard -> Relays. Done

Any other client you use should use your https://ditto/relay only

Lol ok. So I'm definitely going to be keeping this profile separate from my ditto profile. Ditto has nuked my profile twice now. And it doesn't seem to be saving my relay settings for whatever reason. Looks like I have to do some troubleshooting.

No. It looks like it did save one of the relays that I set in the soapbox settings, but I'm running out of time and have to head to my day job for a few hours here soon.
