**Ferris wheel to be erected in Pārdaugava, Rīga**
The construction of a ferris wheel has begun in the Pārdaugava part of Rīga, the left bank of the Daugava, between Raņķa Dam and Slokas Street, part of Uzvaras Park, Latvian Television reported on July 5.
