The Unseen Reality: Testimony from Israel
In this dark and inhuman time, one of the most disturbing aspects is not just the violence, but the complete absence of public debate in Israel. It’s uncanny, disheartening, and difficult to fully grasp.
For Israelis, the genocide in Gaza is not happening. The war is not real. There’s no discussion, no reflection, no weighing of consequences. Palestine and Palestinians have been erased from public consciousness. Mentioning them only leads to accusations of hatred.
This disappearance is so complete it’s almost beyond belief. Starvation, death, occupation—all of it is invisible. Israel’s management of consciousness and its propaganda have become so expert that many Israelis truly have no idea where, when, or how they exist in relation to these realities.
If it weren’t lived, it would be hard to believe. But it’s true. Thought control has reached a level that erases any trace of the ongoing horrors from the minds of the public.
