Oh, I thought I upset Whitecat-san by saying something bad about math.

I think it's to do with having an extreme level of excellence in a field as abstract as math-- where it's too away from physical things & people who'd understand the work are also limited.

Maybe the solution will be to work on some mathematical problem that is a concrete problem physically existing in our world?

(Also, my thinking is we're now living in a world where we give priority to everything which is quantified; and I don't think it's good overall) I like my sunshine not measured ☀️
