Ok just bought $5 worth of Bitcoin. Here's my first impression...

Things I like:

Very fast

Low minimum

Didn't have to scan my ID or provide a selfie

Things I don't like:

It still asked for more info than I wanted to give to set it up

Don't like having to deposit USD before buying. I'd rather just have it charge my debit card when I buy.

As far as I recall, Moonpay has only ever asked to verify my email and phone number. Don't think I ever had to provide my SSN. Unless I just don't remember doing that. Been buying through them for the last few years even though you pay a premium because it charges my debit card when I purchase and sends the sats directly to whatever wallet address I provide. Higher minimum purchase amount though and also high premium as I mentioned already.

So a few tradeoffs IMO, but I'll give strike high marks for ease of use. It barely took me a minute or two to set it up.
