It is very enjoyable to do editing, but there is only one problem: in our Discord group where we discuss and do editing, we are mostly in our 20s, and only a few of them are 27-28 years old. In other words, it's work for young people, but I find it very enjoyable at the moment. It's not something I prioritize since I am an archaeologist, but it does give quite a bit of adrenaline.

I ended up being an architect but if I could go back or jump forward I would chose archaeology or art restoration

Archaeology a lovely profession to have

Sorry, got distracted by the archaeology. As for the quest of monetizing video edits I think precisely a good target are the TV shows of Gen X and Boomers. Even elders in terms of care! for them they could make use some oldies film edits, I could imagine. Youtube makes it difficult to monetize them indeed; once because of the copyright suits and twice because of the 'good ettiquette of behavior", —such as banning audience for reply commenting quotes of the show that happens to carry cursing words—.

Maybe nostr can help, we'll see.

If I had the choice, I would choose to remove the boomer from my heart and not worry about whether they like my content(or me) or not
