We see things as we are, not as they are in actuality. To see things as they are in actuality is non- conceptual and human beings are conceptual beings that make stories about things.

However we are always seeing with the non- conceptual mind no matter what thoughts, feelings, and perceptions are arising in our experiencing.

This is the mind before thought, feeling, perception ect creates interpretations about subject/ object.

The difference between these ways of seeing is very subtle. In the first way you see the stories about things and self that mind makes up and call it reality.

In the second way of seeing you see as the seeing that witnesses the stories that mind makes up and see that it's only one of many perspectives.

The second way of seeing allows you to develop a mind that is free from clinging to thought, form, feeling, perception, and consciousness. This is most auspicious.
