Well just looking to do 8 reps to almost failure. And looking to progressively increase the load/get stronger. But I feel like I do way less relative to what I can do on exercises that focus on hamstrings and quads. So I'm just curious to see how I compare to other people to guage where I'm at if that makes sense

i understand. not sure how much of this you’ve done before but if you’re relatively new i would start somewhere between 8-12 kgs in each hand. but this is all very individual. the best things is to try and fail, and not compare to others. you do you!

Yeah that's what I did and struggled a bit more than I thought I would. But it's definitely the area I need to work on so will just have to be patient.

sounds like you’re already know what’s up. patience is the key

If you were able to safely finish your sets without compromising form, you’re probably at the right weight.

If not, drop the weight slightly.

Once you can finish your sets without struggling, increase weight slightly.

Form and slow/controlled decent are the most important thing, especially with these.

this 💪
