That would be interesting to dig into for sure. While I don’t have those stats at the moment, my gut tells me all those rates are super low to non existent in their community. Will look into it to be sure
My comment wasn't to assign you further research... lol. I appreciate the post... was just thinking out loud with my thumbs... and have always been fascinated with the Amish. I agree that your gut is likely on target. My gut says there are likely few studies involving the Amish cuz those providing research grants already know the likely outcomes... and those outcomes would provide evidence against their objectives.
I totally understand that but I just have the curiosity of a 5 yr old lol! I was having similar thoughts prior to reading your comment and it’s not everyday that you come across a control group that unique and of a large enough sample size
