GM #Nostr! I’m #newhere and super excited to be on this platform.

I’ve stayed away from social media for years because I hated feeling like the product. Now that I’ve found Nostr, I’m ready to connect with people who get it. I’m a millennial passionate about #finance and #Bitcoin—trying to live #thrifty to save for the future. But man, it feels like the hamster wheel just keeps spinning faster.

Discovering #BTC last year blew my mind. It’s not just money; it’s a way to build a better world together. I’m pumped to talk about #stocks, #MSTR, #MSTRTrueNorth, #family, and #freedom too.

Honestly, I’m a bit overwhelmed figuring out where to start here. What’s the one thing that made you love Nostr? Or any advice for a #newbie to jump in?

You’ll never be able to stack as much as you can in your early years so make the most of it. If you’re in the US consider Strike or Fold to take your pay in bitcoin.

Thank you!! I’ve already got both Strike and Fold. I’m working towards creating the financial space to begin taking all of my pay in BTC. At the moment the volatility makes it tough.

My goal with Nostr is to share the journey of a normal dude’s transition to a BTC standard.

On the waiting list for the Fold 2% BTC rewards credit card.

G’day Thrifty, I’m on the wait list for the Fold CC as well. Theres a couple of bills i cant link to Strike so it will solve that problem. Volatility does make it tough if you’re just starting, it took me five years to get to this point. Don’t buy more than you can afford to save to avoid forced selling to cover bills. Don’t use leverage. As the price increases and you save more your runway will increase and you’ll progressively move away from fiat and closer to bitcoin. Lots of little steps are less likely to get you rekt than going all in on margin. Good luck, keep us posted.
