I believe the Nostur client does and others have it on their roadmaps. But I do agree with you, that is a very big piece that is missing to bridge the X functionality gap.
I like it in separate apps. All your friends are still there even though it’s a separate app. nostr:npub1n0stur7q092gyverzc2wfc00e8egkrdnnqq3alhv7p072u89m5es5mk6h0 has nests embedded if you want that.
