I agree completely with your sentiment, however you could see it as a call for donations. I won't condemn someone for using the free market to raise money. His actions over the coming months will really determine whether this move was acceptable or not IMO

I do agree with the free market aspect. There will be pain and this is the way it has to happen.

I hope humanity can smarten up though. People obviously don't have respect for their money and the time on this planet it took them to earn it.

It's a chicken-egg feedback loop between fiat incentives and quality of human consciousness. The only way to bootstrap consciousness is via the higher power IMO, of which Bitcoin is a beautiful and mostly pure expression.
