But someone might have educated guesses based on known data …

Unknown / private relays, multiple accounts per user, abandoned accounts, lost accounts, bots …
I think judging it by intuition is the best bet because it's so hard to automatically distinguish bots, sockpuppets, etc
So by my intuition, low hundreds of active users, a few thousand "not here lately but still planning to use it more" users, thousands and thousands of people who've just tried it and left

i've counted about 7 people but not sure if some of them are the same person with multiple accounts
4 of those were me. But they were created just to heart my supreme alpha takes.
