Could you tell me what experience have you had that you think Carnival is low budget?

Super fun vibe but it’s definitely budget friendly!

-Crowded pools, basic food, and lots of add-ons for extras. Sailed on Royal Caribbean last year, and wow, what a step up!

-Sleeker ships, better dining (included specialty restaurants!), and more luxe amenities like spa-like staterooms.

Conclusion: Carnival’s great for a cheap party, but Royal’s got that premium edge.

I know it's subjective but replying to your question... This is my experience

I agree with you I went on Carnival Miracle & the Royal Caribbean boat was following us when we docked in the grand turks I could see their top side & their pool area was defintely a big step up compared to what we had. They had this super huge gigantic fun slide wrapped around the whole area I saw fake palm trees.

It really looked like a big party was on top you could just hear people screaming & laughing.

As for the restaurant specialties you have to tell me more. I think Miracles was pretty good the different food styles they had I laughed when I saw a chinese food place in the buffet area. The dining restaurants for dinner I did wish they had more steak options there was a lot of different cheeses but one steak & one prime rib option so the restaurants coulda been better.

The tea time was cute having to dress up in a suit in order to get access to the restaurant during tea time & given white gloves to wear just for having tea. I defintely felt like a rich man in there when they were playing 4 seasons.

The activities well the comedy shows we're the most hilarious shows I ever seen I seen a lot of comedy stand up but these comediand who were there that night were better then any comedian I ever saw. I was dying of laughter literally you ever laugh for 3 hours straight & really couldn't stop? I went to these comedians & was telling them they need their owm HBO specials & tv shows they really were above tier.

They even had PG comedy standup in the morning which I went to one & that gave me a whole new respect for those type of comedians. To make good jokes without cursing once or making sexual gesture really really is a talent I can respect the craft.

As for the other stuff bean bag toss eh seemed like it was more for kids then adults but a lot of seinor citizens were there. They had this frankensteins lab as a night club which coulda been bigger in my opinion but it wasn't bad. The spa treatment I didn't like that you had to pay for that seperately & wasn't included so I didn't get to experience that. They had a gym which I was like what vacation shouldn't have a gym on the boat but it was cool.

Karaoke night was fun I gave it a shot & in my opinion embarassed myself in front of 200+ people. But I guess I shouldn't feel so bad because everyone stood up & clapped for me then later as I was walking around the ship mad peoplr came up to me telling me I was very good. I sang I don't wana miss a thing by aerosmith my voice cracked at the part where he goes yeah yeah yeah yeah YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! Idk how my voice didn't crack on the last line when he goes I don't wana close my eyes I don't wana FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL asleep yeah & I don't wana miss a thing.

The bar was cool not too big but funny story I saw a drunk girl the first night fight a midget chinese security guard then got handcuffed & later came running back while handcuffed did a dive & barrel roll through the bar & then did the evil monkey from family guy to the guard!

She ran off & the guard chased her. I have a video of it somewhere I recorded the first half it was sad my camera died when she came back. When she was on the floor getting handcuffed I got up in her face with the camera & said that's it your done.

Oh man it was a hilarious first night on vacation!
