Someone asked me today “what is the point of Bitcoin?”

How would you respond in one sentence without using any technical jargon, buzzwords, or clichés?

The point is that the 21 million supply can't ever be increased, and that protects the value of the portion of that supply that I control.

Lol. It can be changed. Of the majority of miners/nodes agree on more than 21million Bitcoins than there will be.
