This is exactly the same as my experience except I temporarily migrated from MyNode for the same reasons and am using Umbrel for now which is working great. However I am also very tempted to order a Ronin Tanto just to simplify things.

It’s extremely smooth. I don’t know why my MyNode experience was so bad but damn. It’s like night and day. I just want to privacy tools tbh, don’t need all the other stuff. So it’s definitely a recommendation if you’re look to run a basic Bitcoin node to do some whirlpool. I used to run umbrel 3 years back and it was cool. Another option is a more private implementation of umbrel call Citadel, if ya haven’t seen it yet give it a look. Ras Pi only currently.
