The best way to find good apps is to make sure:

1. The Dev trully uses that app as a daily driver; This means that, for mobile devs, they need to view and post from their phones and not from the desktop. Using the phone's emulator is not good enough.

2. Your hardware + software setup is very close to the dev's. This includes operating system versions, accessories, installed libraries, keyboards, etc.

You would be surprised how many devs never use their own products.

Just as the Internet is not real life, the emulator is not the phone.

These are good points. I only ever like to develop things that I actually use myself.

My fiat work isn't used directly by me, but if I still worked for my client as an engineer, I'd be all over it requesting all kinds of features.

This is why OpenBSD is so great!

Point 2 is why I can't use my mouse 🤣

That's one big reason why we're only building stuff we actually want to use, ourselves.
