Of course we missed our flight and then the airline Cathay Pacific refused to let us fly back even if we found another flight out there
There goes our Vietnam vacation

Don’t take no for an answer in situations like that , go to the embassy , have an email showing whatever special circumstances they want to see from you to get emergency visa , when there is a will there is a way
Always ask a simple question when it comes to visas "what fucked up shit did my government do this time?"
I had a road trip planned to el Salvador for adopting bitcoin conference. Had to fly as couldnt get a visa for Honduras in time and theyd changed the law for Brits. So yeah, you're being entitled and not understanding the cause.
