can we bring back the cast iron vs stainless steel debate and move it here? I need to see some convincing arguments

Cast Iron! Heavy weight as opposed to the light weight of stainless steel.
Smack an intruder with stainless steel frying pan? They will get back up.
Cast iron? Maybe not so much.
if cast iron can be cleaned with some salt in a matter of seconds and stainless steel doesn’t retain heat as well, it seems like cast iron is the clear winner …so far
