According to Hubertus Heil, federal minister of labour, the German pension fond is empty as per October 31. Now our public servants are rushing into formulating an economic rescue plan because apparently nobody knows where the nations wealth has gone.

They will fix it ... with tax increases, because that's how they fix it... 🫣😵‍💫

Where did the money go my grandparents and my parents paid into that fond and why doesn't my mum's pension even cover her groceries?

to the hairdresser of the foreign minister

LOL

Do you have a source for this? I can't find anything on the interwebs.

I think the quote that the fond is basically empty as per Oct 31 was published by the Münchner Merkur. I'm trying to find it again.

However, they're planning to stabilise this (aka recover pensions) with the pension package III, You'll find more info on that below or by doing some topic related searching.

But the real question is where did the money go every working citizen has paid into the pension fond since WWII?

To add, you'll need read a few of the news / blogs to get a grasp on how bad things really are.

Vielen Dank!

Sondervermögen maybe?

War efforts soaking up our Pension Fund is my current theory 🫠

Unlimited spending, unsustainable migrant policies and being Ursula's arms dealer is why German is going broke. Also, it's no news that pension fond funds have been misappropriated for years to plug holes elsewhere in the mismanaged household. You could think that they're driving Germany into the ground on purpose.
