I spoke on a panel at a (as advertised) Bitcoin conference in Miami today. The degree of shitcoinery was disappointing. The degree of security theater was staggering. Patted down and ID checked every single time I entered a room. Was threatened to be thrown out for exciting the “wrong” door.

I don’t know if it’s the event organizers, who I won’t waste characters mentioning, or a heavily unionized city at fault, but I cannot wait to get back to Nashville.
