Maybe, but I doubt it. CBDCs will be a thing before any sort of crypto has a chance.

I was working for a company on a product that now officially says it is pro CBDC.
Few years ago we were asked to perform airdrop of mobile money in Myanmar for the opposition of the junta purposes. We couldn’t reach the speed they wanted though. To reach few millions for few hours.
So they went with Tether:
Our architects and CTO and other C levels were meeting with FED around 2018-9.
Currently a daughter company of the company I was working at is on the pilot of the instant FED payments.
