I find this survey as a joke... made with only 322 individuals from 130M people that Japan have.

Let's also look at the REAL Bitcoin adoption: merchants

Even Spain + Portugal (that are shit in the adoption matter) have double number of merchants. Not talking about the whole Europe.

US is a shame LOL, for big it is I can count less than 1000 merchants ! You guys have big work to do there, stop using those shitty VISA cards and USD. Is time to make an example to the world.

first world mentality:

Convenience over everything.

it's the 21st century enslavement

Someone needs to make a website with a live updating chart of countries. Showing there merchant adoption numbers. Grabbing data from nostr:nprofile1qqsra2ey033mkdwl5w8q0jss9ak69zafh82xsuvhwsaauw3trkq2amgprpmhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tc7g996k . Or does this already exist?

Bitcoiners love a good chart.

You mean like this?

Updated daily.

There are also country and community specific ones, but we could definitely do a better job spicing and dicing data if people have ideas... and PRs!

I mean something along these lines. Just a page that shows the amount of merchants in each country or in proportion to population maybe.

We already have all the population and area (km²) details. 👀

We could do that on the Country Leaderboard:

Everywhere I go I ask if they accept bitcoin as payment, most of them don’t even know it can be used to pay! Long way to go but spreading the word here!
