Nostr clients would be better with adds. Every single podcaster in this space has adds. If you choose them selectively to contribute to bitcoin circular economies, it actually builds trust (see nostr:npub1vwymuey3u7mf860ndrkw3r7dz30s0srg6tqmhtjzg7umtm6rn5eq2qzugd for example).

Every 21st and 69th note should be an add with an affiliate marketing type like to something like the Leathermint or any bitcoin accepting business the main dev of that client trusts.

the ad sponsored podcast content CONTAINS the ads what are you proposing that more will add to it?

i don't even waste my time with podcasts in general because the ads are annoying and those are the ones my adblocker doesn't screen out, yes, the ones the podcaster puts into the content, i always skip ahead of those segments and the only pod i watch these days is SO and he only puts an ad at the end to subscribe to his actual service

i guarantee you that nostr clients with advertising will be the least popular, at least until there is wide adoption and then it will depend on how much they tamper with the feed to suck people in and keep them clicking, also, a dark pattern just like advertising as a revenue model

how else do you think it came to be that half the internet is run by companies that were spawned by spooks?

the advertisers sucking up market intel is just the stuff they tell you about

So you're telling me, if I client put in an add on your feed once per day for a pleb who was selling beef for bitcoin and they only got paid if you actually bought it, your wouldn't use it?
