Yeah, because everybody has access to that. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Literally africans who earn pennies, without any access to the internet are using the sms-service right now.

Ok, so what does sending sms’ have to do with buying and interacting with bitcoin?

Did you even read my responses or are you just trying to bash bitcoin with a bitcoin profile posting bitcoin content on nostr? What is this

It’s me, explaining to you that bitcoin is not immutable, that there are circumstances where you would not have access to it.

If you’re in the middle of Africa, with no access to the internet, then you have no access to bitcoin, it’s not hard to understand. Sending an sms means nothing.

My main point is that bitcoin doesn’t rely on the internet, not how hard or how easy it is to have access to it in a end time scenario. It is a fact that a global internet shutdown won’t destroy the Bitcoin network, your bitcoin will always be existing in the network and any global network system will ultimately give you access to it (in case the internet never ever gets restored again). And even today, without access to the internet you are still able to transact bitcoin via the sms-system. This you do not seem to get.
