I wish my chickens would eat comfrey, but they have consistently refused to do so. They greatly prefer Swiss chard so that's what I grow for them.

Comfrey is great. My knee swelled up like a cantaloupe last week (self diagnosed bursitis) I have been putting a daily comfrey poultice on it for a few hours a day. The swelling is down 80 percent and hopefully on my way to healed.
