'Help God! For the godly man ceases to be. The faithful fail among the children of men. They speak vanity. Every one of them. With flattering lips and a double heart do they speak.

But the Lord will silence all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things... those who have said, 'with our tongue we will prevail, our lips are our own. Who is Lord over us?'

'For the oppression of the poor, and the sighing of the needy will I now arise' says the Lord. 'I will set him in safety from him that puffs his chest at him'

The words of the Lord are pure, like silver tried in a furnacei, purified seven times. You will keep them, O Lord, you will preserve them from this generation forever.

The wicked walk on every side when the vilest men are exalted.
