some really good videos from Khan academy on the components that makeup the bitcoin ecosystem. The 101 and the two Saifedean videos are outstanding in my opinion.

21 Million bitcoin will be finally mined in 2140's. Plenty of time away! The reward subsidy will be so low at that point that fees will makeup blocks and be the incentive for miners to keep the lights on!!
