Wait, since when is it NOT 0? Any number divided by 0 is 0, that's what I was taught as well and I didn't attend public school. I was homeschooled before the era of Common Core... To be fair, I was never good at math but still, what sort of Mandela effect is this? 🧐
Dividing by zero is undefined in mathematics. This is because division by zero would require finding a number that, when multiplied by zero, gives a non-zero result, which is impossible. Therefore, 1/0 is considered undefined.

Division by zero can be thought of in terms of dividing by ever smaller numbers. Divide by 4 and get 4 parts; 2, 2 parts; 1, 1 part.
Divide by 0.5 and you get double what you had. By 0.25 and you get 4 times. Keep making your denominator smaller and smaller towards zero, and your result approaches infinity. So if you divide by zero, is the result always infinity?
No, and as is revealed by calculus, the result of approaching a zero denominator can actually be a real number. So in general, division by zero is undefined until proven otherwise.

One divided by 2 yields 2 of a thing.
One divided by 3 yields 3 of a thing.
One divided by zero yields nothing, obliteration.
It may be mathematically undefinded, but I feel like there's an opportunity for a valuable childhood economics lesson about the nature of absurd infinities in there somewhere 😏

There's an argument to be made that those who are not home schooling or private schooling are neglecting or abusing their children.
Please. If you have children, do everything you can to get them out of the system. Its worth whatever inconveniences you'll endure to ensure they have a solid real world education. If you have to downsize or move to a rural area to make ends meet, so be it. The dual (triple/quad) income households with kids being babysat by public daycare is brain rot.
