I also used to keep a dream journal and this is why. I’m really bad at keeping journals of any kind because it takes a lot more time to write stuff down than it does to simply think about it and I always lose patience or time at some point. It was working well until I stopped. Maybe I should try just mindfully reflecting instead of writing them down 🤔

I have occasionally gone back and read them and it was fun 😊

I think that mindfully reflecting is more important, I also gave up on the journalling at some point but the lucid dreaming continued long after. Basically until I stopped trying due to worldy distractions. I am a very lazy writer, better to give 5-15 minutes of reflection time or meditation when you wake up.
