The default like should be a single tap on Amethyst regardless how many reactions you store. Long press should open the multi-selector and the editor is already available on the multi-selector to edit your layout. Let the first reaction be the user one click default. I will die on this hill.

I agree, I don't always want to have to decide between 🤙 and 👌
But then people will only do ♥️, which doesn't mean anything. It's better if everybody gets used to provide meaningful reactions

Reading this I would like to see a quick one touch zap button introduced :)
Zaps are a great unidimensional reaction, they are just about making number go up!
For me on a personal level this is actually working on the opposite of your desired goal. I end up making a default and turning everything else off because a simple ❤️ acknowledgement is all the majority of my likes need to be. When I actually want to give a 🫂 or 🤝 or whatever I don't want to have to go add those reactions just to make a response like that and end up just using the default even though I'd want to add more context it's actually more work than the majority of my interactions.
