Reason #10 why you should run a full Bitcoin node:

If left neutral and free of filtering, your full node preserves the network’s censorship resistance.

While other sovereign nodes might choose to not validate certain types of transactions (SegWit, Taproot, RBF, ordinals), you can make a difference by not making any kind of discrimination.

While Bitcoin is a global and neutral protocol, full node rules are subjected to human biases and politics. By choosing to not care who uses Bitcoin in ways you may not like, you are doing a service to the network while presenting the underlying cypherpunk values.
