That's because Edge doesn't have Chrome's ecosystem of browser extensions, so they have to develop a native extension to do that. I wouldn't use a wallet developed by Microsoft though I don't think.
Extensions designed for Google Chrome can also be used in Microsoft Edge. They both use Chromium
Oh that's right. I forgot Edge switched to chromium a while back. I only use Edge for watching streaming services because I have it routed around my VPN connection. I do everything else in chrome. My identity is still 100% Googleized. 😆
I can understand, I recently started using edge after they released new version of bing, it's pretty awesome
